NCIS soared to a season high on Tuesday with more than 20 million viewers and was also the top-rated program of the night in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Nov. 8.
NCIS was first in households (12.6/19), viewers (20.31m), adults 25-54 (5.7/14) and adults 18-49 (4.1/11) for the eighth consecutive week. NCIS was the night's #1 program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week. First-run episodes of NCIS beat first-run episodes of "Glee" every week this season in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. If the ratings hold, NCIS will beat "Glee" by its largest margin to date in households (+8.2), viewers (+13.41m), adults 25-54 (+2.8) and adults 18-49 (+1.0). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in households (from 12.2/19), +2% in adults 25-54 (from 5.6/14), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 3.9/11) and added +600,000 viewers (from 19.71m, +3%). NCIS posted its largest audience since Feb. 22, 2011.
At 9:00 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (15.59m), adults 25-54 (4.8/11), adults 18-49 (3.4/08) and second in households (9.7/14). Compared to last week, NCIS: LOS ANGELES was up +2% in adults 25-54 (from 4.7/11), even in both households and adults 18-49 and added +70,000 viewers (from 15.52m, +1%).
From 9:00-9:30 PM, NCIS: LOS ANGELES tied "The New Girl" for the first time this season in adults 18-49 (3.5/09, each).
UNFORGETTABLE was first in households (7.7/13), viewers (11.62m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/07). Compared to last week, UNFORGETTABLE was up +5% in households (from 7.3/12), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 3.2/08), +4% in adults 18-49 (from 2.3/06) and added +280,000 viewers (from 11.34m, +2%).
For the night, CBS was first in households (10.0/15), viewers (15.84m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.3/09). All three CBS dramas won their time periods in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 for the second consecutive week. CBS won every Tuesday this season in viewers.
