NBC RESULTS FOR THE PRIMETIME WEEK OF FEB. 4-10

'CHICAGO FIRE' MATCHES OR TOPS ITS PREMIERE RATING FROM LAST FALL FOR A FIFTH CONSECUTIVE ORIGINAL TELECAST

'COMMUNITY' DEBUTS UP 12 PERCENT VS. LAST SEASON'S PREMIERE AND UP 46 PERCENT VS. LAST SEASON'S FINALE

'PARKS AND RECREATION' HITS A SEASON HIGH IN 18-49, WHILE 'THE OFFICE' MATCHES ITS FOUR-WEEK HIGH

FRIDAY'S 'DATELINE NBC' GRABS ITS BIGGEST OVERALL AUDIENCE SINCE SEPTEMBER 2011 AND 'ROCK CENTER' GENERATES ITS BIGGEST VIEWERSHIP SINCE SEPTEMBER 2012

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - February 12, 2013 - NBC has delivered a 1.2 rating, 3 share in adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of February 4-10, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's top shows last week included "The Biggest Loser" and "The Office," both of which averaged a 2.1 rating in adults 18-49; "Parks and Recreation," which earned a season-high 2.0; and "Chicago Fire" and the season debut of "Community," both of which averaged a 1.9.

Primetime averages for the week of February 4-10 in adults 18-49 are: CBS, 3.4/9; Fox, 2.2/6; ABC, 1.9/5; NBC, 1.2/3; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 13.2 million; Fox, 6.5 million; ABC, 6.3 million; NBC, 4.3 million; and CW, 1.6 million.

Season to date averages through eight weeks are: CBS, 3.2/9; NBC, 2.7/8; Fox, 2.5/7; ABC, 2.3/6; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 12.7 million; NBC, 7.8 million; ABC, 7.7 million; Fox, 6.9 million; and CW, 1.8 million.

NBC highlights for the week of February 4-10

Monday: "The Biggest Loser" (2.1 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) matched the 18-49 rating for its fifth episode of one year ago (2.1 on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012).

Tuesday: "Betty White's Second Annual 90th Birthday Special" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 6.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) captured NBC's biggest overall audience in the time period since December 18. And from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Smash" (1.2/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million in total viewers) earned NBC's top total-viewer result in that slot since January 8.

Wednesday: "Chicago Fire" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in by 27 percent in adults 18-49 (with a 1.9 rating vs. a 1.5), 26 percent in adults 25-54 (2.4 vs. 1.9) and 26 percent in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 5.2 million).

For a fifth consecutive original, "Chicago Fire" matched or beat its premiere 1.9 rating from last fall, while among all other new dramas this season on ABC, CBS and NBC and Fox, only Fox's "The Following" has matched or beaten its premiere 18-49 rating even once.

At 9 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: SVU" (1.5/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) grew form its first half-hour to its second by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.4) and by 16 percent in total viewers (5.6 million vs. 4.8 million).

At 8:30 p.m. ET, "Guys With Kids" (1.2/3 in adults 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall) grew week to week by 9 percent in both 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 1.1) and total viewers (3.2 million vs. 2.9 million). "Guys With Kids" retained 100 percent of its 18-49 lead-in from "Whitney" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall).

Thursday: The fourth season debut of "Community" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall) beat the show's premiere from last season (when it did not face competition from Fox's "American Idol") by 12 percent in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.7). Versus last season's finale on May 17, "Community" was up 46 percent in 18-49 rating (1.9 vs. 1.3 at 9:30) and up 57 percent in total viewers (3.9 million vs. 2.5 million). "Community" was also up versus NBC's average in the time period earlier this season by 46 percent in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.3, L+SD excluding live news and sports).

At 8:30 p.m. ET, "Parks and Recreation" (2.0/5 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) delivered a season-high rating in adults 18-49 and its top result in that key demo since November 17, 2011. The 2.0 was NBC's highest 18-49 rating with comedy programming in the half-hour since March 15, 2012.

At 9 p.m. ET, "The Office" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall) matched its highest rating four weeks (since January 10).

Friday: "Dateline NBC" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) reported its highest 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since January 11 and its biggest overall viewership in the 16 months since September 23, 2011, despite moving this week to an earlier time period. In the new time slot, "Dateline" was #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

From 10-11 p.m. ET, "Rock Center with Brian Williams" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall) moved to its new time period with the show's highest 18-49 rating since November 1, 2012 and its biggest overall audience since September 13, 2012. Versus its averages on Thursday nights so far this season, "Rock Center with Brian Williams" was up 20 percent in 18-49 rating (1.2 vs. 1.0, L+SD) and up 44 percent in total viewers (5.3 million vs. 3.7 million)

Saturday: "American Ninja Warrior" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 2.2 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) equaled NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period, excluding NFL coverage, since the December 1 airing of "It's a Wonderful Life." And at 10 p.m., a rebroadcast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Adam Levine and musical guest Kendrick Lamar (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall), matched NBC's highest non-NFL 18-49 rating in the time period since December 22.
