Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "Under the Dome" Opens Big for CBS

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

NBC (7.909 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1) was the top demo draw on Monday thanks to its coverage of the "NHL Stanley Cup Finals Pre-Game" (5.904 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.1, #3) followed by the concluding "NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Game 6" (8.310 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #T1).

CBS (8.207 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) then was the top overall draw with repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" (4.531 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8), "2 Broke Girls" (4.629 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #7), "The Big Bang Theory" (6.573 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5), another "The Big Bang Theory" (7.230 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4) plus the premiere of "Under the Dome" (13.141 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.2, #T1).

Next up was ABC (5.495 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) with original installments of "The Bachelorette" (6.410 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5) and "Mistresses" (3.664 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.675 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) offered up its mix of "Raising Hope" (2.163 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10), "The Goodwin Games" (1.551 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11), "New Girl" (1.387 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T11) and "The Mindy Project" (1.599 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13).

And finally, the season finale of "Oh Sit!" (1.015 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and a repeat of "The Carrie Diaries" (0.365 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.1, #15) closed out the night on The CW (0.690 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Sit!" delivered a 0.3 rating while "Carrie" posted a 0.1 rating.

NBC (7.81 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T1) was the most-watched network on Monday thanks to its mix of the "U.S. Olympic Team Trials" (6.95 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #6), "America's Got Talent" (10.41 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) and "American Ninja Warrior" (6.07 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.0, #5).

Sharing the demo crown however was FOX (5.44 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T1) with originals of "Hell's Kitchen" (5.52 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.3, #2) and "MasterChef" (5.35 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3).

Next up was ABC (5.75 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3) and its fresh installments of "The Bachelorette" (6.96 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3) and "The Glass House" (3.33 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T9).

Meanwhile, CBS (5.16 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) offered up repeats of "How I Met Your Mother" (4.23 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #12), "2 Broke Girls" (4.71 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T7), "Two and a Half Men" (5.24 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T7), "Mike & Molly" (4.77 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T9) and "Hawaii Five-0" (6.01 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T9).

And finally, rebroadcasts of "Breaking Pointe" (0.56 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) and "90210" (0.22 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #14) on The CW (0.39 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the evening. In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/5; and ABC's combo of "Nightline," 2.8/6; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; "Nightline," 0.9/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

At 12:35 a.m., "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
