TBS Draws More Viewers Primetime Than Any Other Basic Cable Network in Primetime for October
Turner spins the numbers for the week of October 21-27 plus the month to date.

Driven by the network's Major League Baseball Postseason coverage, including the 2013 National League Championship Series, TBS drew more viewers primetime than any other basic cable network in primetime for October. TBS was also the #1 entertainment network with adults 18-34 and adults 18-49 in primetime for the month.

TBS's enormously popular telecasts of The Big Bang Theory scored another stellar month, with the show ranking as basic cable's #1 sitcom among viewers and adults 18-49.

The premiere of TBS's new series Trust Me, I'm A Game Show Host averaged 1.2 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery. In the demos the show averaged 637,000 adults 18-49 and 330,000 adults 18-34 in Live + 3 viewing. Competitively in Live + Same Day delivery, Trust Me, I'm a Game Show Host was basic cable's #1 unscripted program in the Tuesday 10:30 p.m. half hour with adults 18-34.

Cartoon Network

Across October 2013, Cartoon Network ranked as television's #1 network for Early Prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 6-11.

Cartoon Network was October's #1 television network for boys 6-11 & 9-14 on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday Nights (7-9 p.m.), the #1 network for boys 6-11 on Thursday Nights (7-9 p.m.), and the #1 network for boys 2-11 & 6-11 on Saturday Nights.

Original animated series Uncle Grandpa (Mondays, 8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, while the Emmy-winning Regular Show (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11 & 9-14. Popular and critical favorite original series Adventure Time (Monday, 7 p.m.) ranked #1 its time period among boys 9-14, with new episode premieres increasing delivery among kids 9-14 (+3%) & boys 9-14 (+16%) vs. the same time period last year.

Animated reality series Total Drama All-Stars (Tuesdays, 7 p.m.) scored as the #1 program of the day among boys 6-11 & 9-14, with new episode premieres increasing delivery by double digits among kids 9-14 (+11%) and boys 9-14 (+21%). International hit original series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 throughout October in its time period among boys 6-11 & 9-14, with new episodes raising delivery among kids 9-14 (+6%), boys 2-11 (+1%), boys 6-11 (+2%) and boys 9-14 (+12%).

Based on the hit animated film How to Train Your Dragon, Dragons: Defenders of Berk (Thursdays, 7:30 p.m.) ranked as the #1 program of the day among boys 6-11. Similarly, Warner Bros.' original animated series Teen Titans GO! (Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

On Saturday mornings, action-adventure animated series Beyblade: Shogun Steel (8 a.m.) and Pokémon BW: Adventures in Unova (8:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in their respective time periods among boys 9-14.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim's October 2013 Total Day Delivery ranked #1 among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34 on basic cable. Compared to October 2012, the Total Day Delivery averages grew among adults 18-24 by 7%, adults 18-34 by 12%, adults 18-49 by 11%, men 18-34 by 5% and men 18-49 by 5%.

Compared to the same week in 2012, Adult Swim's Primetime Delivery increased across the board - among adults 18-24 by 5%, adults 18-34 by 8%, adults 18-49 by 9%, men 18-24 by 1%, men 18-34 by 4% and men 18-49 by 5%. Overall, Adult Swim in October 2013 ranked #3 among basic cable networks for Primetime delivery of young adults 18-34.

On Thursday nights across October, the Primetime Emmy-winning Adult Swim original Childrens Hospital (12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-34 & 18-34 and men 18-24, with new episode premieres increasing delivery among adults 18-34 (+6%) & 18-49 (+8%). Also, original series The Eric Andre Show (12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34, with new episode premieres increasing delivery across the board - ranging between 7% and 17% - vs. the same time period last year. A third original series, Hot Package (12:45 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-34 (up +12%) & 18-49 (up +10%) and men 18-34 (up +4%).

On Sunday nights in October, new episodes of original series China, IL (11:30 p.m.) increased average delivery of all targeted adults and men vs. the same time period last year - adults 18-24 grew by 31%, adults 18-34 by 28%, adults 18-49 by 18%, men 18-24 by 6%, men 18-34 by 18% and men 18-49% by 13%. Similarly, original animated series Squidbillies (12:15 a.m.) earned double-digit delivery gains of adults 18-24 by 15, 18-34 by 12%, adults 18-49 by 20% and all targeted men between 18% and 30%.

A one-hour original animated music special Metalocalypse: the Doomstar Requiem a Klok Opera (Sunday, Oct. 27, 12 a.m.) posted double-digit delivery gains across all targeted adults and men vs. the 2012 time period - adults 18-24 increased by 41%, adults 18-34 by 32%, adults 18-49 by 17%, men 18-24 by 78%, men 18-34 by 58% and men 18-49 by 36%.

All Saturday night TOONAMI episode premieres in October grew average delivery of adults 18-34 & 18-49 by double digits vs. the same time period last year.

Across October, Adult Swim programming accounted for 15 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable among adults 18-34, more than any other network
