"Parenthood" Grows for a Second Week in a Row in Adults 18-49 to Achieve Its Highest Rating Since October 3

Thursday Primetime Results:

· "Parenthood" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew for a second week in a row in adults 18-49 to achieve its highest rating since Oct. 3, nearly six months ago, during the season's second week. In total viewers, "Parenthood's" 4.393 million is currently the show's biggest overall audience since its season premiere on Sept. 26 delivered 5.056 million viewers (pending updates). This is the fourth week in a row "Parenthood" has grown in total viewers. From its first half-hour to its second, "Parenthood" held steady in 18-49 rating (1.4 vs. 1.4) and grew 1% in total viewers (to 4.419 million from 4.367 million), despite the 10 p.m. hour. L+3 Time-Shifting: The previous week's "Parenthood" grew in L+3 by 60% or 0.75 of a rating point in 18-49 (to a 2.01 from a 1.26) and by more than 1.8 million viewers overall (to 6.1 million from 4.2 million).

· "Parenthood" is up versus one week ago by 8% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.4 from a 1.3) and up 17% versus two weeks ago (1.4 vs. 1.2). In total viewers, "Parenthood" is currently up versus one week ago by 4% (4.393 million vs. 4.215 million), while up versus two weeks ago by 13%, up versus three weeks ago by 16% and up versus four weeks ago by 22%.

· A special 8-9 p.m. ET encore of "Hollywood Game Night" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) tied the show's highest Thursday rating so far this season (scored previously with a 9 p.m. original on Feb. 27). In total viewers, the 8 p.m. encore hit a series high for a Thursday telecast in total viewers, topping the four previous Thursday editions this season and the 13 Thursday "HGN" telecasts of last summer.

· From 9-10 p.m. ET, a second rebroadcast "Hollywood Game Night" in the show's regular time period (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall) jumped 22% versus last week's 0.9 in this slot, also with an encore telecast. In total viewers, the 9 p.m. "Hollywood Game Night" rebroadcast is up week to week by 30% (to 3.727 million from 2.871 million). From its first half-hour to its second, the 9 p.m. "Hollywood Game Night" encore grew or held steady in all key measures, including gains of 9% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1), 7% in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.4) and 11% in women 25-54 (2.0 vs. 1.8).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.3/5 with an encore delayed by basketball; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.6/7.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/3 with an encore delayed by basketball; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.9/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/4 with an encore delayed by basketball). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore delayed by basketball).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
