"The Vampire Diaries," "Reign" Gain Week to Week
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES rose 14% week to week in adults 18-34 (0.8/3) and was up 6% in total viewers (1.8M). It was #4 in the hour among A18-34, W18-34, and A18-49.
REIGN also saw week to week gains, growing 25% in A18-49 (0.5/1), and 67% in W18-34 (0.5/2) and remaining steady week to week in total viewers (1.4M) and in A18-34 (0.3/1).
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES has seen tremendous increases in delayed and digital viewing this season. Season to date, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES is averaging a +52% gain in total viewers over Live + Same Day, a +64% jump in A18-34, a +65% gain in A18-49, and a +70% increase in W18-34. Digital viewing of TVD episodes is up +13% season to date versus last year, and it continues to be the network's most watched digital series.
REIGN also sees significant gains when delayed viewing is added, increasing +44% in total viewers, +43% in A18-34, +48% in A18-49 and +48% in W18-34. REIGN has also been seeing significant digital viewing this year, nearly doubling its weekly audience when digital streaming of each episode is counted.
