Metered-market households are currently excluding the Denver and Albuquerque markets:
"The 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards" averaged a 12.7 rating, 19 share in households in the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research, excluding Denver and Albuquerque. The year-ago rating including all markets was a 14.1/21 and note that last night's 12.7 is in line with a 13.1/20 in 2013 and 1n 11.7/18 in 2012.
Last nights' 12.7 (missing two markets) tops every Golden Globes average in the metered markets from 2008 through 2012.
The Golden Globes dominated the time period and is the night's #1 non-sports telecast.
Note that fast-affiliate ratings at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET are not time zone-adjusted and will be unreliable for the live "Golden Globes" telecast. Time zone-adjusted fast nationals are expected later today.
Also note there was a total of 2.6 million tweets regarding the Golden Globes during the show's live broadcast last night, an increase of +24% versus the prior year's 2.1 million tweets.
