CBS.com Registers Record Traffic for a GRAMMY Broadcast, While Nielsen Social Ranks Last Night's Broadcast as the Biggest Social Entertainment Program of the Season

THE 57TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS delivered 25.3 million viewers, leading CBS to a dominating night in which it more than doubled the primetime network averages of NBC, ABC and FOX combined, according to Nielsen live plus same day time adjusted fast national ratings for Feb. 8.

From 8:00-11:39 PM, THE GRAMMY AWARDS was first in viewers (25.3m), adults 25-54 (9.3), adults 18-49 (8.5) and adults 18-34 (7.6).

The GRAMMYS broadcast was easily Sunday's top program in these measures, and posted the season's best delivery in adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 for any entertainment broadcast.

In primetime, CBS more than doubled NBC, ABC and FOX combined in viewers (20.10m vs. 9.59m, +130%), adults 25-54 (7.7 vs. 3.4, +126%), adults 18-49 (7.0 vs. 2.8, +150%) and adults 18-34 (6.1 vs. 2.0, +205%).

CBS.com saw record traffic for a GRAMMY Awards broadcast, with +133% year-over-year growth in unique users to GRAMMYs-related content. Live-streaming of "GRAMMY Live," CBS.com and GRAMMY.com's multiplatform coverage leading up to and throughout the telecast, generated nearly 7.5 million streams, up more than 40% over the previous year.

In addition, Nielsen Social ranks THE 57TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS as the biggest social entertainment program of the 2014-2015 TV season to date, with more than 13.4 million comments on Twitter.
