Disney Channel Sweeps TV's Total Day in Total Viewers and Major Youth
Demos, Driven by Multi-Month Highs for Hit Original Comedies

With Record May Highs, 24-Hour Disney Junior channel Is TV's #1 Preschooler Network for the 26th-Consecutive Month in Total Viewers and Kids 2-5

During May 2015, Disney Channel swept TV's Total Day across target Kids 2-11 (552,000/1.4 rating), Kids 6-11 (371,000/1.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (379,000/1.6 rating) demographics, and was the month's #1 cable TV network in Total Viewers (1.1 million), powered by the season 2 premiere week of "Girl Meets World" and the 'Double/Crossed' weekend-long "K.C. Undercover" event.
Disney Channel towered over Nickelodeon by its largest margin on record in Tweens 9-14 (+107% - 379,000 vs. 183,000) and by double digits for the 14th-consecutive month in Kids 6-11 (+42% - 371,000 vs. 262,000). Overall, Disney Channel has now beat Nickelodeon for 61-straight months in Tweens (5+ years) and for 49 months in a row in Kids 6-11 (4+ years) - since May 2010 and May 2011, respectively.
In Primetime, Disney Channel extended its streak as TV's #1 network to 123-consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (629,000/2.7 rating) and to 119 months running in Tweens 9-14 (611,000/2.5 rating).
· An all-new "K.C. Undercover" (Sun., 5/31), part of the series' 'Double/Crossed' weekend programming event, soared to 4-month highs in Total Viewers (3.0 million), Kids 2-11 (1.4 million/3.6 rating), Kids 6-11 (1.2 million/5.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.3 million/5.3 rating) - since 1/25/15 - ranking as its #3 telecast on record overall. In addition, it was the series' #2 telecast to date in both Adults 18-49 (595,000/0.5 rating) and Women 18-49 (381,000/0.6 rating), behind only its series launch on January 18, 2015.
· During its season 2 premiere week (5/11-5/15), "Girl Meets World" delivered 4-month highs for its Wednesday telecast across Total Viewers (3.2 million), Kids 2-11 (1.4 million/3.6 rating), Kids 6-11 (1.1 million/4.6 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.2 million/5.0 rating) - since 1/16/15.
24-Hour Disney Junior channel
During May 2015, the 24-hour Disney Junior channel rose to record May highs, ranking #1 across preschooler networks for the 26th-consecutive month in Total Viewers (500,000), Kids 2-5 (239,000/1.5 rating) and Boys 2-5 (113,000/1.4 rating) - each month since reporting public ratings on April 1, 2013 - and was the #1 network across all TV for the 4th-consecutive month in Girls 2-5 (126,000/1.7 rating). The channel was also #1 among preschooler channels for 24th month running in Women 18-49 (95,000).
· With double digit increases, 24-hour Disney Junior channel was the only preschooler TV network to post year-to-year gains in target demos, including Total Viewers (+33% - 500,000 vs. 376,000), Kids 2-5 (+31% - 239,000 vs. 183,000) and Women 18-49 (+28% - 95,000 vs. 74,000). Note, Nick Jr. declined by -28% in both Total Viewers (246,000 vs. 342,000) and Kids 2-5 (117,000 vs. 163,000).
· The channel delivered the month's Top 6 series across preschooler networks among both Total Viewers and Kids 2-5:
· Disney Junior channel more than doubled Nick Jr. across all key categories: Total Viewers (+103% - 500,000 vs. 246,000), Kids 2-5 (+104% - 239,000 vs. 117,000), Girls 2-5 (+107% - 126,000 vs. 61,000), Boys 2-5 (+102% - 113,000 vs. 56,000) and Women 18-49 (+111% - 95,000 vs. 45,000).
· Disney Junior channel out-delivered Sprout by triple digits for the 26th month in a row across Total Viewers (+327% - 500,000 vs. 117,000), Kids 2-5 (+388% - 239,000 vs. 49,000), Girls 2-5 (+425% - 126,000 vs. 24,000), Boys 2-5 (+352% - 113,000 vs. 25,000) and Women 18-49 (+296% - 95,000 vs. 24,000).
