Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: NBA Finals Still Big for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/11/15):

ABC (14.030 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.3, #1) was once again the network to beat on Thursday with its mix of "Jimmy Kimmel: Game Night" (8.869 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.9, #3), "NBA Countdown" (9.986 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #2) and "NBA Finals, Game 4" (16.331 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.3, #1).

FOX (4.556 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a distant second place with the season finale of "Bones" (4.879 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7) alongside a new "Wayward Pines" (4.233 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5).

Next up was CBS (5.055 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) and its repeat lineup of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.960 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4), "The Odd Couple" (5.402 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7), "Mom" (5.090 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10), "Mike & Molly" (4.978 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9) and "Elementary" (3.949 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.945 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up its trio of "Dateline NBC" (6.367 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5), "Aquarius" (3.729 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11) and "Hannibal" (1.740 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13).

And finally, The CW (0.889 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening with the return of "Beauty and the Beast" (0.908 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14) and the "iHeartRadio Summer Pool Party" (0.870 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T14). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.4 rating at 8:00/7:00c and the latter a 0.4 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4, delayed by an NBA Finals overrun.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline," delayed by an NBA Finals overrun, averaged a 1.8/7 in metered-market households and a 0.9/7 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/12/14):

ABC (10.594 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.2, #1) was the top draw on Thursday thanks to its mix of "Jimmy Kimmel: Game Night" (5.890 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #4), "Kia NBA Countdown" (6.479 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2) and "NBA Finals, Game 4" (12.800 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.2, #1).

FOX (3.748 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was a distant second place with new episodes of "Hell's Kitchen" (4.773 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5) and "Gang Related" (2.724 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14).

Next up was CBS (5.384 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) and its repeat lineup of "The Big Bang Theory" (8.181 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3), "Mom" (6.314 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #6), "Two and a Half Men" (5.505 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7), "The Millers" (4.436 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and "Elementary" (3.935 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.847 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) served up originals from "Hollywood Game Night" (4.265 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), "Undateable" (3.295 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10), another "Undateable" (3.011 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and "Last Comic Standing" (4.122 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

And finally, repeats of "The Vampire Diaries" (0.579 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T15) and "The Originals" (0.575 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T15) closed out the evening on The CW (0.576 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).
