Friday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, NBC Share Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/24/15):

NBC (4.311 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) and ABC (4.046 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) shared the demo crown on Friday as the former served up its duo of "America's Got Talent" (4.075 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) and "Dateline NBC" (4.782 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2).

The Alphabet then went with its trio of "Shark Tank" (4.235 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (3.986 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) and "20/20" (3.918 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2).

Next up was CBS (4.431 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with repeats of "Elementary" (3.109 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.707 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Blue Bloods" (5.477 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.410 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up encores of "Home Free" (1.633 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T7) and "Knock Knock Live" (1.188 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10).

And finally, a new "Masters of Illusion" (1.492 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.118 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T10) and the departing "The Messengers" (0.946 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (1.126 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.3, 0.1 and 0.1 rating, respectively.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.1/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (5.018 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) and ABC (4.320 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) once again split the top spot on Friday as the Peacock served up new episodes of "Dateline NBC" (6.222 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) and the Saturday-bound "Crossbones" (2.610 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).

The Alphabet then offered up its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.056 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (3.559 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) and "20/20" (5.345 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).

Next up was CBS (5.367 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and its repeat lineup of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (4.568 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6), "Hawaii Five-0" (5.280 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) and "Blue Bloods" (6.254 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.473 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) once again offered up encores of "MasterChef" (1.815 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T6) and "24: Live Another Day" (1.132 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13).

And finally, second runs of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.317 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10), another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.350 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) and "Colin & Brad: Two Man Group" (1.128 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T10) on The CW (1.231 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4) closed out the night.
