"Dateline NBC" Increases 25% Week to Week to Its Top 18-49 Rating Since Oct. 2

'DATELINE NBC' INCREASES +25% WEEK TO WEEK TO ITS TOP 18-49 RATING SINCE OCT. 2

Friday Primetime Results:

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Hits a five-week high in 18-49 (best since Oct. 2, 1.1) and equals a five-week high in adults 25-54 (matching its best since Oct. 2, 1.6).

· Grows +25% week to week in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.8).

· Increases week to week in nearly every key measure, including gains of:

· +27% in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.1).

· +25% in men 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.8).

· +29% in women 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.4).

· Grows half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, despite the 10 p.m. hour.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - Friday's "Dateline NBC" has increased by +30% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.00 to a 1.30) and 1.0 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 6.0 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· Upscale: The prior week's "Dateline" was the most upscale non-sports show of the night on the Big 4, indexing at a 127 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (L+SD).

"Grimm" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):

· Tied for #2 in the time period among the Big 4 nets in adults 18-34 and ranked #2 outright among those nets in men 18-34.

· Maintained 91% of last week's adult 18-49 rating (1.0 vs. 1.1) and 100% in men 18-34 (0.6 vs. 0.6).

· Maintained 100% of what it was averaging at the end of last season during the May Sweep in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 1.0).

· Builds on this week's lead-in by +67% in 18-49.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - "Grimm" first-runs grew by +83% last season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.15 to a 2.10) and 2.6 million viewers overall (4.8 million to 7.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

"Undateable" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):

· With a live telecast, maintains 100% week to week in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7)

· Grows +4% versus last week in total viewers (2.698 million vs. 2.602 million) and +13% in women 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.8).

· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - "Undateable" has increased by +33% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.82 to a 1.09) and 583,000 viewers overall (2.7 million to 3.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· Upscale: The previous week's "Undateable" tied as the top scripted show of the night in education level on the Big 4, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 with four or more years of college (L+SD).

"Truth Be Told" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.1 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):

· Retains 86% of last week's rating in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.7), 89% in adults 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.9) and 100% in women 25-54 (1.0 vs. 1.0).

· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - "Truth Be Told" has grown by +31% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.74 to a 0.97) and 491,000 viewers overall (2.6 million to 3.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7..

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
