Thursday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, Olympic Games Continue Win Streak

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/11/16):

NBC (31.345 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 9.0, #1) was the top draw on night seven of the "Olympic Games Rio 2016" (31.345 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 9.0, #1).

CBS (4.813 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was the silver medalist with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (6.318 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3), "Life in Pieces" (4.817 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4), "Big Brother 18" (5.862 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) and "Code Black" (3.009 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5).

Next up was ABC (2.571 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and repeats of "BattleBots" (2.884 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "$100,000 Pyramid" (2.554 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Match Game" (2.275 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.320 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) likewise served second runs of "Rosewood" (2.392 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Bones" (2.250 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

And finally, a repeat "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.294 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #11) and a new "Beauty and the Beast" (1.084 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.3, #12) closed out the night on The CW (1.189 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5).

CBS (6.615 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was the network to beat on Thursday with its mix of "Mom" (6.462 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2), another "Mom" (6.370 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T2), "Big Brother 17" (7.743 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) and "Under the Dome" (5.687 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T4).

NBC (5.862 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "Food Fighters" (5.195 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #6) and "Dateline NBC" (6.196 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T4).

Next up was ABC (4.415 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its trio of "The Astronaut Wives Club" (4.579 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9), "Mistresses" (4.332 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7) and "Rookie Blue" (4.334 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.715 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up a new "Boom!" (3.355 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9) and a repeat "Bones" (4.075 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8).

And finally, a new "Beauty and the Beast" (1.661 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and a repeat "Arrow" (1.432 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #13) closed out the evening on The CW (1.547 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said duo posted a 0.3 and a 0.3 rating, respectively.
