Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, Olympic Games Wrap on Top

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/21/16):

NBC (14.526 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1) was the top draw on Sunday with its mix of its "Rio Gold" (10.782 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.5, #3) special, the conclusion to the "Olympic Games Rio 2016" (16.846 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.1, #1) and a special "The Voice" (10.411 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2).

ABC (4.553 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #2) then was a distant second with its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (3.636 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9), "Celebrity Family Feud" (5.549 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5), "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.821 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6) and "Match Game" (4.210 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #7).

Next up was CBS (4.278 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its quartet of "60 Minutes" (6.771 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8), "Big Brother 18" (5.923 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4), "Madam Secretary" (2.428 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14) and "BrainDead" (1.992 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #17).

And finally, repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.193 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14), "Bob's Burgers" (1.165 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12), another "The Simpsons" (1.456 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (1.209 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12), "Family Guy" (1.418 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T9) and "The Last Man on Earth" (1.043 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T14) closed out the night on FOX (1.247 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4).

Leading off the night was a repeat of "Bob's Burgers" (1.911 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8) and a second "Bob's Burgers" (2.326 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6).

CBS (5.857 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) then was still the most-watched network with its quartet of "60 Minutes" (8.252 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #4), "Big Brother 17" (6.986 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1), "Madam Secretary" (4.102 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8) and "CSI: Cyber" (4.091 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T8).

Next up was ABC (4.323 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) and its mix of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.019 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #5), "Bachelor in Paradise" (4.245 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and "Katrina: 10 Years After the Storm with Robin Roberts" (3.784 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12).
