Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "This Is Us" Hold Onto Top Demo Spot

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/18/16):

NBC (9.115 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday with new episodes of "The Voice" (10.317 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2), "This Is Us" (9.615 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.414 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4).

CBS (12.099 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then was the silver with its trio of "NCIS" (14.536 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3), "Bull" (12.207 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.556 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #9).

Next up was ABC (3.984 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and its lineup of "The Middle" (5.952 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #7), "American Housewife" (5.673 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5), "Fresh Off the Boat" (4.068 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #8), "The Real O'Neals" (3.098 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.557 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.719 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4) offered up fresh installments from "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.034 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12), "New Girl" (1.838 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T12) and "Scream Queens" (1.502 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15).

And finally on The CW (1.742 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T4), new episodes of "The Flash" (2.631 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T10) and "No Tomorrow" (0.855 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (7.836 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) held onto the demo crown on Tuesday with its trio of "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" (4.775 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10), "The Voice" (10.990 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.743 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4).
