Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "Jeopardy!" Stunt Opens Big for ABC

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/7/20):

ABC (6.874 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) soared to the top spot on Tuesday thanks to the launch of "Jeopardy! The Greatest of All Time" (14.367 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) alongside the return of "Mixed-ish" (4.780 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2), "Black-ish" (3.182 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "Emergence" (2.274 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12).

CBS (8.923 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) was the number two draw with its trio of "NCIS" (10.279 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "FBI" (9.300 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #6) and "FBI: Most Wanted" (7.190 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7).Sharing the silver was NBC (3.897 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) with the season premiere of "Ellen's Game of Games" (4.347 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), another "Ellen's Game of Games" (4.654 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T2) and a sneak preview of "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" (2.690 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.132 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up a new "The Resident" (3.724 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and the return of "Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back" (2.541 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

And finally, The CW (0.513 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with repeats of "Batwoman" (0.647 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13) and "Black Lightning" (0.379 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T13).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
