ID'S 'THE CURIOUS CASE OF NATALIA GRACE' REACHES MORE THAN SIX MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS OVER THREE CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS

- Network Closes May As the #1 Total Day Network Among W25-54* for the Second Consecutive Month -

(New York, N.Y.) - The Curious Case of Natalia Grace, ID's explosive six hour docuseries exploring a bizarre family saga centered around the mystery of Natalia Grace, a 6-year-old Ukrainian orphan, averaged 0.92 L3 rating with persons 25-54, an increase of 179% versus prior six weeks and a 1.23 rating with women 25-54, an increase of 167% versus the prior six weeks. Throughout the three nights of premiere episodes, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace reached 6.3 million total viewers on ID since its May 29 debut and remains a top performer on discovery+. On Wednesday, May 31, the finale of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace drove ID's highest rated telecast in three years among viewers 25-54 (since January 20, 2020) with a .99 and among women 25-54 (since May 26, 2020) with a 1.26.

The series boasts other strong metrics:

· On Monday, May 29, excluding sports, the two-hour premiere clinched the #1 cable network spot in the 9-11:00pm time period for persons and women 25-54 and 18-49.

· On Tuesday, May 30, the docuseries claimed the #1 Prime cable network spot in the 9-11:00pm time period for persons and women 25-54 and women 18-49.

· On Wednesday, May 31, the series finale claimed the #1 spot among P2+ in the 9-11:00pm time period.

The explosive three-part docuseries offers shocking access into a mysterious family saga about the 6-year-old Ukrainian orphan with spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia - a rare bone growth disorder that can result in skeletal abnormalities. Her adoptive parents, Michael and Kristine Barnett, allege that Natalia was an adult masquerading as a child, while Natalia maintains that she was an exploited child.

On the heels of the success of The Curious Case, ID greenlit a follow-up documentary, The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: Natalia Speaks that is set to air on ID later this summer. The new documentary will feature shocking and emotional access to Natalia Barnett as she tells her side of the story, exploring her account of what happened behind the closed doors of the Barnett family home and addressing allegations against her head on. After years of being cloaked under a gag order due to the subsequent legal proceedings around the 2019 arrest of her adoptive parents, Natalia has been unable to tell her story - until now.

"This year, ID has proven that premium true crime content resonates with our viewers across all our platforms," said Jason Sarlanis, President, Turner Networks, ID and HLN, Linear & Streaming. "Masterfully curated by a team who knows how to create genre-defining programming, ID's limited docuseries and eventized specials are consistently delivering must-see content to viewers far and wide. The Curious of Case of Natalia Grace held twists and turns that viewers couldn't get enough of. This incredible story is far from over - we'll be serving fans the next chapter when we drop Natalia Speaks later this year, further cementing this series as the true crime event of the summer."

The Curious Case of Natalia Grace continues to cement ID's mounting success with their docuseries. The Curious Case follows powerful ID docuseries such as The Price of Glee and Jared from Subway: Catching a Monster, which also brought high engagement across linear and streaming.

ID's digital platforms also delivered impressive engagement over the three nights of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace with promotional content generating more than 25 million video views across the net's Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts. User discussion about the docuseries created chatter that launched the series into a top 20 US trending topic on Twitter across all three premiere nights. All episodes of The Curious Case of Natalia Grace are available to stream now on Max and discovery+.

The Curious Case of Natalia Grace is produced for ID by Hot Snakes Media.
