DESCRIPTION: (from Comedy Central's press release, March 2013) The "Broad City" girls of New York are headed to the all comedy network! The critically acclaimed digital series is transitioning from the web to a weekly, half-hour scripted series on COMEDY CENTRAL. "Broad City," starring Upright Citizens Brigade alums Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, has been ordered to series, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, President, Content Development and Original Programming, COMEDY CENTRAL. Executive produced by Jacobson, Glazer, Amy Poehler ("Parks and Recreation"), 3 Arts' Dave Becky and Generate's Sam Saifer, along with Tony Hernandez as Co-Executive Producer, the series is set to premiere in 2014 with 10 episodes.
