E! AND ADRIANNA PAPELL TEAM UP FOR DRESS DESIGN CONTEST THAT GIVES AMATEUR FASHION DESIGNERS THE CHANCE TO MAKE THEIR RED CARPET DREAMS COME TRUE

Winning Gown Design Will Be Revealed on E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet Academy Awards" Special and Will Be Produced for the Next Line of Adrianna Papell for E! Live from the Red Carpet Dresses

Los Angeles, October 10, 2011 -- E! Entertainment and Adrianna Papell are giving fashion fans the opportunity to make their designer dreams come true by launching the Adrianna Papell for E! Live from the Red Carpet Design Contest starting TODAY, October 10, at E! Online. Aspiring red carpet dress designers are encouraged to submit their original dress ideas at E! Online, from classic gowns to contemporary cuts and everything in between, for this dress design contest. One lucky winner's design, based on web votes, will be revealed on E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet Academy Awards" special and will be produced for Adrianna Papell's exclusive collection of Live from the Red Carpet gowns in 2012.

During the entry period, from October 10 to November 6, design enthusiasts can submit their original red carpet-ready designs digitally at www.Eonline.com/design, following the stated guidelines. Then starting the week of November 14, fans will vote on their favorite dresses, narrowing the field to the top 25. Following the first round of voting, E! and Adrianna Papell will narrow the top 25 dresses down to the top five. Adrianna Papell will create samples of those top five gowns, which will be featured at E! Online, and the next fan vote will ultimately decide the winning design.

The lucky dress designer will receive $2,500 and will be flown to Los Angeles to appear on E!'s "Countdown to the Red Carpet Academy Awards" special on February 26, 2012, where their winning dress will be revealed to viewers. Adrianna Papell will produce the gorgeous gown and make it available to fashionistas everywhere as part of the next collection of Adrianna Papell for E! Live from the Red Carpet dresses, which can be purchased at Lord & Taylor and other fine retail stores nationwide.

For complete official rules and to submit dress design entries, please go to: www.Eonline.com/design
