Syfy Books "Being Human," "Lost Girl" for January 16, Holiday Specials on December 6

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy will kick off 2012 with the return of "Being Human" on Monday, January 16 at 9:00/8:00c followed by the domestic premiere of Canadian drama "Lost Girl" at 10:00/9:00c.
Said announcements were made earlier today at the Syfy Digital Press Tour in Orlando. Other notable developments:
-- "Eureka," "Warehouse 13" and "Haven" will all broadcast their holiday specials on Tuesday, December 6 - in that order - beginning at 8:00/7:00c.
-- The network has ordered "Total Blackout," a new game show hosted by Jaleel White in which contestants are placed in a completely lightless environment and asked to identify unwelcome items - everything from a snake to a human foot - in various tanks.
-- As previously announced, the channel's mini-series "Neverland" will premiere Sunday, December 4 and Monday, December 5.
