NBC TO AIR "THE CLIOS: WORLD'S BEST COMMERCIALS" IN A PRIMETIME SPECIAL, HOSTED BY JB SMOOVE

NEW YORK, NY - October 27, 2011 - NBC will bring "The CLIOS: World's Best Commercials" to network television this fall in a one-hour primetime special hosted by comedian JB Smoove and produced by JUMA Entertainment. These commercials, all nominated this past year for CLIO recognition, feature some of the biggest names in television, movies and sports, including Jason Bateman, Kevin Bacon, Will Arnett, Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.

"The CLIOS: World's Best Commercials" is a boundary-pushing celebration of the most innovative commercials and advertising campaigns from around the world, including the United States, The Netherlands, Australia, Denmark, Finland and Argentina. This special presentation will showcase more than 50 of the year's best commercials, featuring a family rapping about their minivan, the most talented goldfish in the world and an employee with a sword obsession. The show will also allow viewers to recognize the prestigious inductees to the Clio Awards Hall of Fame.

JB Smoove, a multi-talented writer, comedian and actor, has earned rave reviews for his role as Leon Black on "Curb Your Enthusiasm." In the standup and acting worlds, Smoove has been featured on "The Chris Rock Show," "Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza," "Cedric The Entertainer Presents," "'Til Death," and "American Dad." He has written for "Saturday Night Live" and has appeared in films including "Mr. Deeds," "Date Night," and "Hall Pass."
