AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "Private Practice" co-star Kate Walsh will depart the "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off after 13 episodes of its upcoming sixth season (Deadline.com); Thomas Jane is in talks to play mobster Bugsy Siegel on TNT's "L.A. Noir" should the period drama pilot be ordered to series (THR.com); "Castle" executive producer Laurie Zaks has inked a one-year overall deal with ABC Studios where she'll develop new series projects under her new Second Season banner (Deadline.com); IFC will premiere its new six-part series "Bullet in the Face" as a two-night event on Thursday, August 16 and Friday, August 17 with three installments beginning at 10:00/9:00c each night (Deadline.com); "Cougar Town" co-executive producer Gregg Mettler has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television where he'll join the studio's newcomer "How to Live with Your Parents," also as a co-executive producer (Deadline.com); Wil Calhoun, most recently a consulting producer on "I Hate My Teenage Daughter," has been tapped as the new showrunner of "Whitney," while former steward Betsy Thomas has transitioned to NBC's "Guys With Kids" as a co-executive producer (Deadline.com); Katia Winter will recur on "Dexter" as "a Russian stripper who works in a Miami club" (TVLine.com); Emma Stone will make a cameo during the final season of Nickelodeon's "iCarly" (EW.com); "Dancing With the Stars" alum J.R.
