Television Special, Sales Event and Sweepstakes Aims To Inspire Spring Makeovers

New York, N.Y. [For Immediate Release - March 20, 2013] Home enthusiasts will discover a myriad of design possibilities for home makeovers this month during the "HGTV HOME(TM) Make It Mine" campaign. Featuring a consumer giveaway valued at $50,000, a 10-day sale on HGTV HOME branded products and a television special, the campaign will help consumers prep for any spring indoor or outdoor design project.

For those who need inspiration before tackling their makeover projects, the network will premiere HGTV HOME Makeover on Saturday, March 23, at 6 p.m. ET/PT. During the one-hour special, designer Meg Caswell will take viewers behind the scenes as she visits factories, showrooms and retail stores to reveal the making of HGTV HOME products. Design aficionados also will get tips on how to mix and match items in the line, including flooring, paint, furniture, fabrics and lighting, to create an amazing new family room.

Consumers can jumpstart planned makeovers and sample the range of items in the HGTV HOME line by taking advantage of a sales event from now through Sunday, March 24. During the sale, consumers can find discounts of up to 40 percent off on HGTV HOME sale items. The products, which include custom upholstery, flooring, lighting, paint, furniture, fabrics and trim, are available at participating stores across the country.
