DIVORCE: A LOVE STORY (ABC/Sony; W: Daniel Lappin & Mike Sikowitz; D: Pamela Fryman) - Amy Aquino ("Being Human") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about Kenny (Jason Jones) and Robin (Andrea Anders), a recently divorced couple who were bad at marriage and discover they are even worse at divorce. She'll play Kenny's mom Irma ("a force of nature"), "whose obsession in life is to see Kenny and Robin back together." Adam Goldberg and Regina King also star in the multi-camera project. (Deadline.com)
HAPPINESS (NBC/Universal; W: Victor Fresco; D: James Burrows) - Vik Sahay ("Chuck") has been cast in the multi-camera comedy pilot, about Sean (Sean Hayes), a formerly closeted gay man who's now a full-time dad to his 14-year-old daughter (Samantha Isler). He's set as Howard, "a nerdy, slightly aggressive IT guy" who works with Sean. Echo Kellum, Linda Lavin, Lindsay Sloane and Thomas Lennon also star. (Deadline.com)
JOHN MULANEY SHOW, THE (NBC/Universal; W: John Mulaney; D: TBA) - Comedian Seaton Smith has been cast in the comedy pilot, based on the life of the stand-up comedian and his efforts to be a good person, much to the annoyance of everyone around him. He's set as Motif, "a confident African-American comedian." The multi-camera project also stars Elliott Gould, Griffin Newman, Martin Short and Nasim Pedrad. (Deadline.com)
MOTHER'S DAY (CBS/CTS; W: Elisa Zuritsky & Julie Rottenberg; D: TBA) - Maggie Elizabeth Jones ("Ben & Kate") has scored a role on the comedy pilot, about Gabby (Debra Messing), a 40-year-old mother of three in Park Slope, Brooklyn who constantly lies to keep up with the demands of work, home and family. She'll play Jojo, her seven-year-old daughter, in the single-camera project, which also stars Michael Nathanson and Paul Adelstein. Separately, Jones is guest starring on The CW drama pilot "Oxygen" as the childhood version of Aimee Teegarden's Emery. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Oxygen may not move forward with a third season of "The Glee Project" (TVLine.com); and "Community" co-executive producer Andy Bobrow has inked a new two-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television (Deadline.com).
