New York, NY (April 9, 2013) - MTV today announced that the start of the Summer Blockbuster season will open with the "2013 MTV Movie Awards" hosted by MTV News' Josh Horowitz, MTV's "House of Style's" Karlie Kloss, Vinny Guadagnino and Christina Garibaldi airing LIVE on Sunday, April 14 at 8:30 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT. The co-hosts will give viewers an all access pass to the red carpet and feature interviews with the hottest talent throughout show. In addition, fans will be treated to a first-hand look at the first-ever three-way Celebrity Catfish full of twist and turns that fans won't believe when "Catfish: The TV Show" stars Nev Shulman and Max Joseph uncover quite the situation between Mark Wahlberg, Joe Manganiello, Anna Kendrick and MTV News' Josh Horowitz. Immediately following the pre-show special, MTV will present the "2013 MTV Movie Awards" show, broadcasting LIVE from Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif. at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT hosted by rising superstar Rebel Wilson.

The night full of huge stars and big laughs continues with a special sneak peek episode of "The Show with Vinny." Host, Vinny Guadagnino mother Paola and Uncle Nino meet up with the stars of the upcoming film Pain & Gain, Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Mackie to hit the gym and talk about the upcoming theatrical release and hilarious memories from their childhood. Then, the sparkly superstar singer Ke$ha hangs out with the Guadagnino family to dish about her new MTV docu-series, "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life," and leaves her glittery trademark on the family treasure - Uncle Nino - as only she could do.

Pitch Perfect stars: Skylar Astin, Anna Camp, Esther Dean, Adam Devine, Alexis Knapp, Hana Mae Lee, Ben Platt, Brittany Snow and host Rebel Wilson will re-unite for a special musical performance. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will perform their hot new single, "Can't Hold Us," additionally Selena Gomez will deliver her first televised performance of her new single, "Come & Get It." Following the performances, fans will be able to view the performances via MovieAwards.MTV.com and Artists.MTV.

Steve Carell, Melissa McCarthy, Zac Efron, Kerry Washington, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Amanda Seyfried, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana and Zachary Quinto are confirmed to present. "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth will be on-hand to introduce the two-and-a-half minute never-before-seen official teaser trailer for the long awaited second installment of Lionsgate's Hunger Games film franchise, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire." Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.

As in previous years, the category of "Movie of the Year" will remain an ongoing battle throughout the 22nd annual "2013 MTV Movie Awards" telecast.
