By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

DEAD BOSS (FOX/Warner Bros.; W: Patricia Breen; D: Barry Sonnenfeld) - The network has passed on the single-camera comedy pilot, about Helen Stephens (Jane Krakowski), an overachiever who is wrongfully convicted of murdering her boss (David Cross) and forced to rely on her train wreck of a sister (Justine Lupe) to prove her innocence. Amy Sedaris, Cedric Yarborough, Rachel Dratch and Ravi Patel also starred. (THR.com)

FATRICK (FOX/20th; W: Corey Nickerson & Nahnatchka Khan; D: Jim Rash & Nat Faxon) - FOX has likewise opted not to move forward with the single-camera comedy pilot, about Patrick (Zach Cregger), a 30-something moving man and formerly fat kid who is forced to face the damage caused by years of being Fatrick: a chubby little kid just trying to survive. Also starring were Dante Hoagland, Lucy Rust, Marcia Cross and Ray Ford. (THR.com)

NO PLACE LIKE HOME (A.K.A. HERE'S YOUR DAMN FAMILY) (FOX/Warner Bros.; W: Ricky Blitt; D: TBA) - The network has also passed on the multi-camera comedy pilot, about Richard Gordon (Jon Heder), a stunted, set-in-his-ways thirtysomething man living with his mom, Carol (Jane Kaczmarek), who finds his perfectly organized world upended when she gets married - and her new husband, Mike Baldwin (David James Elliott), plus his three teenage children (Peter DaCunha, Brendan Meyer and Natasha Bassett) move in. (THR.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - The network's two other comedy pilots - "Cabot College" and "Sober Companion" - still remain in consideration (THR.com).
