FIRST LADY, THE (Showtime) - Dakota Fanning has been tapped to portray Susan Elizabeth Ford on the anthology series, "the only daughter and youngest child of President Gerald Ford (Aaron Eckhart) and Betty Ford (Michelle Pfeiffer). As a teenager in the White House during the tumultuous mid-70's, she often introduced progressive ideas to the presidential family." (Deadline.com)
MADE FOR LOVE (HBO Max) - Ione Skye will guest on the upcoming comedy series as Lottie, "Hazel's (Cristin Milioti) mother who passed away from cancer when Hazel was 12." (Variety.com)
NATIONAL PARKS (ABC) - Guillermo Diaz and Tiffany Dupont are both bound for the drama pilot, which stars Billy Campbell, Angel Parker, Gerardo Celasco, Ashleigh Sharpe Chestnut and Blu Hunt. Diaz will play Vic, "a Special Agent and ISB's unflappable helicopter pilot and botanist who uses these unique skills to investigate and solve crime inside the national parks." And Dupont is set as Talia, "a quick-witted ISB Special Agent and wildlife expert whose tenacity and attention to detail make her a vital part of the ISB team." (Deadline.com)
PROUD FAMILY, THE: LOUDER AND PROUDER (Disney+) - Keke Palmer has signed an overall television deal with Entertainment One where she'll develop new series projects for the studio. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED BALDWIN & GRAMMER PROJECT (ABC) - Alec Mapa is set to star opposite Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer in the multi-camera comedy which follows three men - Grammer, Baldwin and Mapa - who were roommates in their 20s until their warring egos drove them apart. They reunite decades later for one more run at the lives they've always wanted. Mapa's Andre is "the third roommate from the old days in New York. A gay man with a highly empathetic nature, he often is called upon to keep the peace between Channing (Baldwin) and London (Grammer) while also attempting to find a romantic and professional success that have so far eluded him." WOMAN IN THE HOUSE, THE (Netflix) - The Kristen Bell/Tom Riley-led limited series has cast Mary Holland as Sloane, "a local art gallery owner and Anna's (Bell) loyal best friend"; Shelley Hennig as Lisa, "who is sweet and sexy, but is there more than meets the eye beneath her seemingly shallow surface?"; Christina Anthony as Detective Lane, "smart and no-nonsense"; Samsara Yett as Emma, "Neil's (Riley) adorable 9-year-old daughter"; Cameron Britton as Buell, "Anna's sweet, simple-minded handyman"; and Benjamin Levy Aguilar as Rex, "who may not be the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but he's definitely the hottest and hard for women to resist."
