CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN MURDER & MAYHEM (Hulu, New!) - Mandy Patinkin, Violett Beane, Lauren Patten, Hugo Diego Garcia, Angela Zhou and Rahul Kohli are set to star in a new drama pilot for the streamer, which "asks How do you solve a murder in a post-fact world? Especially when sailing the Mediterranean on an ocean liner filled with the wealthy and powerful. Everyone on board is hiding something... but is one of them a killer? That's what the World's Once Greatest Detective, Rufus Cotesworth (Patinkin), and his protége, Imogene (Beane), aim to discover. The truth at all cost." Patten will portray Anna; with Diego Garca as Jules; Zhou as Teddy and Kohli as Sunil. Writers Mike Weiss and Heidi Cole McAdams and director Marc Webb are behind the project, with Black Lamb Productions' Mark Martin also executive producing for ABC Signature. (Deadline.com)
JEOPARDY! (Syndication) - Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings have been tapped to serve as guest hosts of the series through the end of the calendar year. Bialik's previously announced return trip begins this Monday, September 20 and continues through November 5. Said duo will then split hosting duties as their schedules allow. (Deadline.com)
LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, A (Amazon) - Patrice Covington, Lea Robinson, Andia Winslow, Rae Gray and Lil Frex are the latest to recur on the feature-turned-TV series. Covington will play Gracie, "who is in a longtime romantic relationship with Bertie (Lea Robinson)"; with Robinson as Bertie Hart, "Max's (Chante Adams) uncle"; Winslow as Esther, "a striking, witty, competitive woman who is introduced to Max (Chante Adams) and there is an instant connection that sizzles between the two"; Gray as Terri, "a player on the Rockford Peaches"; and Frex as Ana, "a player on the Rockford Peaches." They join the previously announced Abbi Jacobson (Carson Shaw), Chante Adams (Maxine "Max" Chapman), D'Arcy Carden (Greta), Gbemisola Ikumelo (Clance), Roberta Collindrez (Lupe), Kelly McCormack (Jess), Priscilla Delgado (Esti), Molly Ephraim (Maybelle), Kate Berlant (Shirley), Melanie Field (Jo), Nick Offerman (Dove Porter), Rosie O'Donnell (Vi) and Patrick J.
