BIG SKY/LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (ABC/Netflix) - Executive producer Ross Fineman has signed a new multi-year overall deal with A+E Studios, home to the aforementioned series. (Deadline.com)
BIG SKY (ABC) - The show's sophomore season has tapped the following to recur: Vinny Chhibber as Jab, "an outsider who has his sights set on Helena after a local crew of drug dealers threatens to break ties with his family as their supplier"; Romy Rosemont as Agatha, "who co-runs an animal rehabilitation ranch in rural Montana"; Patrick Gallagher as Sheriff Tubb, "an honorable face of the 'old guard' who has built an earnest career of law enforcement in Montana"; Ryan O'Nan as Donno, "a bodyguard with ties to a notorious crime family"; Michael Malarkey as Deputy Harvey, "a pompous, self-assured cop who - despite preaching respect for the law - sells his loyalty to the highest bidder"; and David Meunier as Dietrich, "the leader of a local crew of drug dealers who will go to war with their suppliers when a large shipment they paid for never turns up." CLAN (Apple TV+, New!) - Sharon Horgan, Brett Baer and Dave Finkel have scored a 10-episode order at the streamer for a domestic take on Malin-Sarah Gozin's Flemish series, which "follows the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another." Horgan, who signed a first-look deal with Apple in 2019, will also star in the ABC Signature-based project as well as executive produce alongside Baer, Finkel, Merman's Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford, and Caviar's Gozin and Bert Hamelinck. CLEANING LADY, THE (FOX) - Shiva Negar and Jay Mohr will both recur on the upcoming drama. Negar will play Isabel Barsamian, "sophisticated and sincere, Hayak's daughter Isabel Barsamian holds a Business Degree from Stanford as well as the keys to her father's heart." And Mohr is Council Eric Knight, "a corrupt city Councilman running for Mayor of Las Vegas." (Deadline.com)
COMEBACK GIRL, THE (Showtime, New!) - Kathryn Hahn is attached to star as Joan Rivers in a potential limited series about the legendary comedian at the pay channel. Greg Berlanti is helming the project from a script by Cosmo Carlson. Said trio, Berlanti Productions' Sarah Schechter and Atlas Entertainment's Richard Suckle and Robert Amidon will also executive produce for Warner Bros. Television. Its logline is as follows: "Trailblazer. Adored. Cruel. Diva. Joan Rivers had a life like no other. At age 54, she was a superstar comedienne... and then it all fell apart. THE COMEBACK GIRL is the awe-inspiring untold story of how Joan Rivers persevered through near suicide and professional abyss to rebuild herself and her career to become a global icon." (Variety.com)
FBI: MOST WANTED (CBS) - Co-star Kellan Lutz has confirmed his exit from the series following tonight's season premiere. (@kellanlutz)
FIREFLY LANE (Netflix) - Ignacio Serricchio has joined the cast of the second season as Danny Diaz: "Danny is a cocky sportscaster turned reporter who has crackling chemistry with Tully (Katherine Heigl). He's brash, ambitious, and sexy. Danny and Tully continually trade barbs, but beneath his smug façade lies real vulnerability and passion." Also signing on in recurring roles are Greg Germann as Benedict Binswanger, "he scion of an influential logging family"; India de Beaufort as Charlotte, "a quiet and reserved aspiring journalist with a hopeless crush on Johnny Ryan (Ben Lawson)"; and Jolene Purdy as Justine Jordan, "a sunny, upbeat talent agent with a knack for keeping a positive demeanor even when delivering devastating news." LAGORDILOCA (Starz, New!) - Hilary Bettis is developing a new drama at the pay channel "that chronicles the rise of street journalist Priscilla Villarreal as she capitalizes on the power of livestream reporting to expose corruption, cartels, and serial killers in the border town of Laredo, Texas." CBS Studios is behind the project, which is inspired by Skip Hollandsworth's and Leif Reigstad's articles about Villarreal in Texas Monthly. Nina Tassler, Joan Boorstein and Denise Di Novi of PatMa Productions, and Texas Monthly's Scott Brown and Megan Creydt will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
RESERVATION DOGS (FX on Hulu) - Co-star Devery Jacobs has joined the writers' room for the series' recently ordered second season. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED DAVID SIMON PROJECT (HBO, New!) - David Simon took to social media this week to announce "he will not film an upcoming Lone Star-set HBO project in the state due to the odious abortion ban law recently put in place." No specifics were given about the project other than it is set up at HBO. (Deadline.com)
