ACCUSED (FOX) - Oakes Fegley and Robert Wisdom will both drop by the anthology series as Hunter Corbett, "the troubled son of neurosurgeon Dr. Scott Corbett (Michael Chiklis) and Lynn Corbett (Jill Hennessy)"; and Mitch Becker, "a neurosurgeon and Dr. Scott Corbett's partner and confidant," respectively. (Deadline.com)
BLACK INK CREW: CHICAGO (VH1) - Katrina "Kat Tat" Jackson and her Enigma Entertainment Group banner have signed a first-look development deal with Paramount. (Deadline.com)
PERRY MASON (HBO) - Mauricio Katz and Pedro Peirano have signed a two-year overall deal with the pay channel. The pact includes serving as consulting producers on the second season of the Matthew Rhys-led series. (Deadline.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Andrew McCarthy will recur on the show's final three episodes this season as "Ian Sullivan, a brilliant pediatric surgeon with endless charm that masks a hidden streak of narcissism. He's a larger-than-life hero to his young patients, but has a complex relationship with his own daughter." Said role includes an option to become a regular next season. (Deadline.com)
SHRINKING (Apple TV+) - Michael Urie, Luke Tennie and Lukita Maxwell will round out the cast of the Jason Segel-led comedy series. Urie will play Brian, "Jimmy's eternally optimistic best friend, who also happens to be a lawyer"; with Tennie as Sean, "a young military veteran who has recently come under Jimmy's care"; and Maxwell as Alice, "Jimmy's daughter, [who is] a very together kid who does well in school, however, life hasn't been easy for her - especially since her dad is emotionally unavailable." (Deadline.com)
WILL TRENT (ABC) - Ramón Rodríguez has scored the title role on the drama pilot, about "a gifted GBI agent and a loner within the law-enforcement community who hides the severe dyslexia that went untreated during his traumatic childhood in foster care. But with the Bureau's best clearance rate, he couldn't care less if people don't like him." The actor previously toplined Hulu's "Olga Dies Dreaming," which is not moving forward. His casting, which also includes a producing credit, lifts said contingency off the pilot's production. Liz Heldens, Dan Thomsen, Oly Obst and author Karin Slaughter are the executive producers for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
