ADAM & EVA (NBC) - Kevin Iannucci and Bethany Brown have both been cast in the network's domestic take on the Dutch series. Iannucci will play Derek, "Adam's (Ben Rappaport) new co-worker, a damn-the-torpedoes truth-teller on a quest to find love." And Brown will portray Neela, "Eva's (Alexandra Chando) former art school buddy, current roommate and ride-or-die best friend." (Deadline.com)
ANNE RICE'S INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE (AMC) - Maura Grace Athari has joined the cast of the upcoming drama series as Antoinette, "a blues singer whose relationship with Lestat (Sam Reid) disrupts our two vampires' domestic tranquility." (Deadline.com)
ANNE RICE'S MAYFAIR WITCHES (AMC) - The Anne Rice adaptation has cast Annabeth Gish as Diedre; Tongayi Chirisa as Citroen; Beth Grant as Carlotta; Erica Gimpel as Ellie; and Jen Richards as Jojo. No other specifics were released. Production on the series began this week in New Orleans. (Deadline.com)
DIPLOMAT, THE (Netflix) - David Gyasi, Ato Essandoh and Rory Kinnear have joined the cast of the Keri Russell-led political thriller series as Dennison, Stuart and Trowbridge, respectively. Additionally, Miguel Sandoval, Nana Mensah, Michael McKean, Celia Imrie and Penny Downie are slated to recur. No other character details were given. (THR.com)
ECHO (Disney+) - Devery Jacobs has been cast in the Alaqua Cox-led Marvel Studios series. She's "believed to be playing one of the leads, referred to as Julie, who is resilient and strong willed." (Deadline.com)
GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - Co-star/executive producer Wendi McLendon-Covey has signed a first-look deal with producer Sony Pictures Television. The actress/producer recently signed on to return for the show's 10th season. (Deadline.com)
ISLE OF THE DEAD (AMC) - Gaius Charles will star alongside Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the spin-off series as Perlie Armstrong: "He's confident, ruthless, and unyielding in the pursuit of what he believes is justice, with the force of his will and his menace. Perlie enjoys his work and intersperses humor with the terror he incites. This is a family man, devoted to building a safe world for his wife and daughters. WAY DOWN, THE: GOD, GREED, AND THE CULT OF GWEN SHAMBLIN (HBO Max, New!) - The streamer is developing a scripted incarnation of its recent documentary series, about "cult-like figure Gwen Shamblin Lara - who rose to fame with her Weigh Down Workshop, a Christian-based diet program, and founded the Remnant Fellowship Church." Michelle Dean is spearheading the project for Campfire Studios, Huntley Productions and 3 Arts Entertainment. Marina Zenovich, Nile Cappello, Ross Dinerstein, P.G. Morgan, Luke Dillon and Chrissy Teigen will also executive produce with Rebecca Evans and Ross Girard as co-executive producers. (Deadline.com)
