A+E GLOBAL MEDIA PARTNERS WITH TYLER PERRY STUDIOS AND PANTHEON MEDIA GROUP ON MULTI-SERIES UNSCRIPTED DEVELOPMENT DEAL

Creative Joint Venture Expands Unscripted Content for Lifetime and A&E

NEW YORK, NY (March 5, 2025) - A+E Global Media (formerly A+E Networks) announced today a partnership with Tyler Perry Studios (TPS) and Emmy(R)-winning powerhouse Pantheon Media Group for a multi-series development deal. Under this agreement, the companies will collaborate on a slate of unscripted projects spanning multiple genres and platforms across Lifetime and A&E.

With a legacy of producing record-breaking, critically acclaimed content, Perry's storytelling has continually resonated with audiences worldwide. His ability to create compelling dramas, thought-provoking narratives, and deeply human characters has redefined television. Now, with this expansion into A+E Global Media's networks, Perry will introduce fresh, diverse, and emotionally gripping unscripted content that aligns with the core values and audiences of Lifetime and A&E. Development on the projects are currently underway.

This partnership ensures that a diverse lineup of unscripted series is greenlit across A+E Global Media's brands before a single frame is even shot - a testament to the trust and creative firepower driving this alliance. As demand for premium nonfiction programming continues to grow, this collaboration underscores a shared commitment to delivering high-impact, culture-defining storytelling.

"There is no better place than A+E Global for this partnership to bring some incredible stories to life - everything from inspirational real-life storytelling to mysteries ripped from the headlines," said Tyler Perry. "TPS is excited to dive into all things unscripted with this new venture."

"Tyler Perry's unique ability to craft stories that deeply connect with audiences is unparalleled," said Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming, A&E, Lifetime and LMN. "We are thrilled to welcome Tyler Perry to the A+E family and cannot wait to see the incredible content Tyler Perry Studios and Pantheon will bring to A+E Global Media."

Steve Michaels, Chairman, Pantheon Media Group, said: "A+E Global Media has long set the bar for exceptional nonfiction, and Tyler Perry Studios has mastered audience-driven narratives that resonate on a global scale. Partnering with both allows us to push the boundaries of unscripted entertainment."

The deal builds on Pantheon's strategic joint venture with Tyler Perry Studios, an alliance designed to broaden their unscripted footprint. Antoinetta Stallings, Vice President of Unscripted at Tyler Perry Studios, and LaNeé Griffin, Senior Vice President of Development and Programming at Pantheon, will oversee the development and execution of these upcoming titles.

It's been a landmark year for the newly rebranded Pantheon Media Group. Originally launched as Asylum Entertainment Group, the company now operates under its new name with Steve Michaels as Chairman and Jennifer O'Connell as the newly appointed CEO. Pantheon oversees a diverse portfolio of more than 20 global labels, including live specialists Done+Dusted, premium documentary specialists Breaklight Pictures and Ladywell Films, true-crime producers Texas Crew Productions, among more.
