CBS NEWS' "48 HOURS MYSTERY" POSTS ITS LARGEST AUDIENCE SINCE JANUARY FOR THE SECOND WEEK IN A ROW
The Newsmagazine is the Second Most-Watched for the Week Behind "60 Minutes"
48 HOURS MYSTERY (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) led its time period Saturday night, finishing first in households (6.1/11), viewers (8.77m), tied for first in adults 25-54 (3.3/09, with NBC) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08, with NBC). This is 48 HOURS MYSTERY's best delivery in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Jan. 15.
Compared to the same night last year, 48 HOURS MYSTERY was up +9% in households, +18% in adults 25-54 and +8% in adults 18-49. The broadcast was the night's #2 program in both households and viewers, behind CRIMETIME SATURDAY.
For the week ending Oct. 16, 48 HOURS MYSTERY was the second highest-rated and second most-watched newsmagazine behind 60 MINUTES.
