"60 MINUTES" DELIVERS ITS BIGGEST AUDIENCE SINCE JANUARY
Finishes Eighth for the Week in Viewers and Households
60 MINUTES attracted its largest audience since last January, posting an 11.3/18 with 17.28m viewers. The number-one news magazine also made Nielsen's Top 10 list, finishing eighth in viewers and households.
It was also 60 MINUTES' best delivery in adults 25-54 (5.7/14) and adults 18-49 (4.5/12) since Jan. 8, 2006. The good numbers made 60 MINUTES the most-watched program in its time period. Compared to the same night last year, 60 MINUTES was up +10% in households, +12% in adults 25-54 and +13% in adults 18-49 compared to the same night last year
Sunday's broadcast featured an Ed Bradley investigation of the Duke University lacrosse rape case that included the first interviews with the defendants, plus Lesley Stahl's interview with David Kuo, the former White House employee who accuses administration officials of mocking national religious leaders.
