December 5, 2006 (Burbank, CA) - Building momentum drove The CW to its best week yet in adults 18-34 (1.8/5), women 18-34 (2.3/6) and viewers (3.8mil), for the week ending Dec. 3., powered by a series of seasons bests, including best Monday and Tuesday to date, season highs for "Gilmore Girls," "Top Model," "SmackDown" and "7th Heaven," a new all-time high for "Veronica Mars" and the best "One Tree Hill" since the 2004-05 season.

Compared to the same week last year (11/28/05-12/4/05), The CW improved over UPN and The WB in the network's target demos of adults 18-34 (1.8/5, 64% vs. WB and 6% vs. UPN) and women 18-34 (2.3/6, 53% vs. WB and 10% vs. UPN).

Season to date (through Sunday 12/3/06), The CW is above The WB last year in the target demos of adults 18-34 (1.7/5, 13%) and women 18-34 (2.1/6, +5%). The CW mirrors The WB's scheduling model with 6 nights and 13 hours of primetime programming. Compared to UPN last year, which only programmed 10 hours per week, The CW is on par in adults 18-34.

SUNDAY

"7th Heaven" matched its best adults 18-34 (1.7/5) of the season (both Sunday and Monday telecasts), and tied its Sunday best women 18-34 (2.5/7) performance.

FRIDAY

The CW's "Friday Night SmackDown" scored its largest audience (4.7mil) of the season, and matched its best men 18-34 (2.1/8) ratings of the season.

"SmackDown" ranked first on Friday (8:00-10:00 p.m.) in the target demo of men 18-34

WEDNESDAY

The CW scored its second highest-rated night of programming since the network launched on Sept. 20. in adults 18-34 (3.0/9), women 18-34 (4.6/12), adults 18-49 (2.3/6), women 18-49 (3.3/8) and viewers (4.9mil).

"One Tree Hill" delivered its highest ratings since the 2004-2005 season in key demos, including its best adults 18-34 (2.6/7) since 4/26/05 and best women 18-34 (3.9/10) since 2/22/05.

"Top Model" scored its best ratings of the season in adults 18-34 (3.4/10), women 18-34 (5.2/15), adults 18-49 (2.8/8), women 18-49 (4.0/10) and viewers (5.7mil).

TUESDAY

The CW posted its best Tuesday to date in adults 18-34 (2.3/7), women 18-34 (3.2/8), adults 18-49 (1.9/5), women 18-49 (2.6/6) and viewers (4.2mil).

"Veronica Mars" delivered its best ratings EVER in adults 18-34 (2.0/5) and adults 18-49 (1.6/4-tie), its second largest audience ever (3.44mil) and second highest ratings in women 18-34 (2.6/7-tie) and women 18-49 (2.0/5-tie).

"Gilmore Girls" climbed to new season highs in adults 18-34 (2.6/8), adults 18-49 (2.2/6) and viewers (4.9mil)

MONDAY

The CW scored its best Monday of the season in adults 18-34 (1.6/4)
