"Gilmore Girls" Outpaces Its Year Ago Performance in Women 18-34
The CW Places Second for the Night in Women 18-34
February 7, 2007 (Burbank, California) -- Gilmore Girls scored another strong performance, ranking second in the hour among The CW's target demos of adults 18-34 (2.5/7) and women 18-34 (4.0/9), behind only "American Idol," according to preliminary live plus same day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, Feb. 6.
"Gilmore Girls" also notched its second best ratings of the season in women 18-34 and adults 18-34 (tie).
Compared to an original episode last year on The WB, "Gilmore Girls" posted gains of 5% in women 18-34 (4.0/9 vs. 3.8/9).
Overall, The CW ranked second on Tuesday night among women 18-34 (3.1/7), and beat ABC and NBC from 8:00-10:00 p.m. in adults 18-34 (2.0/5) and women 18-49 (2.3/5).
