"Girls" and "Dolls" Lift The CW to Its Best Tuesday Yet in Women 18-34, Women 18-49 and Viewers

March 7, 2007 (Burbank, California) - "Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll" premiered to the CW's highest ratings in the Tuesday 9:00p.m. hour with adults 18-34 (2.1/6), women 18-34 (3.2/8), adults 18-49 (1.7/4), women 18-49 (2.4/6), viewers (3.9mil), teens (2.7/8) and female teens (4.3/13), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Tuesday, March 6.

"Pussycat Dolls" ranked second in the hour among adults 18-34, women 18-34, teens and female teens, beating the Big 3 and behind only "House."

"Gilmore Girls" also ranked second in its time period among adults 18-34 (2.4/7), women 18-34 (3.8/10), women 18-49 (2.9/7), again topping the Big 3 and behind only "American Idol."

"Pussycat Dolls" built on its "Gilmore Girls" lead-in with teen demos, improving 29% in teens and 26% in female teens.

Overall, "Gilmore Girls" and "Pussycat Dolls" lifted The CW's to its highest-rated Tuesday in women 18-34 (3.5/9), women 18-49 (2.7/6) and viewers (4.20mil), and matched the network's best Tuesday yet in adults 18-34 (2.3/6) and adults 18-49 (1.9/5).

Competitively, The CW ranked second from 8:00-10:00p.m. among adults 18-34 (2.3/6), women 18-34, women 18-49, teens (2.4/7) and female teens (3.9/11), behind only Fox.
