CBS TO WIN THE 2006-2007 SEASON IN VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

CBS Extends Its Winning Streak to Five Years in Viewers and Four Years in Adults 25-54 with a Lineup Featuring More Time Period Winning Programs and More Top 20 Hits Than Any Other Network

CBS Moves Up to Second Place in Adults 18-49

CBS Claims a Leadership Position in Nearly Every Program Genre Including the Number One Drama/Scripted Program ("CSI"), Number One Comedy ("Two and a Half Men"), the Number One New Comedy ("Rules of Engagement") and the Number One News Magazine ("60 Minutes")

Depth and Strength of Schedule Leads CBS to First or Second Place in Viewers on Every Night of the Week

With three nights remaining, CBS will win the 2006-2007 season in viewers for the fifth consecutive year and in adults 25-54 for the fourth straight season paced by a lineup with more time period winning programs and more top 20 hits than any other network, according Nielsen's most current ratings through May 20, week 35, the final full week of the television season.

Among adults 18-49, CBS has moved into a competitive second place, up from third place last season, behind "American Idol"-driven FOX.

With schedule strength across every night of the week, CBS will end the season with a leadership position in nearly every program genre: the number one drama/scripted program (CSI), number one comedy (TWO AND A HALF MEN), the number one new comedy (RULES OF ENGAGEMENT), number one news magazine (60 MINUTES) and two of the premiere reality series (SURVIVOR, THE AMAZING RACE).

CBS has 8 of the top 20 programs in viewers (more than any other network). The Network also has 13 time period winning programs in viewers (as many as the other networks combined) and nine time period winning programs in adults 25-54 (most of any network).

CBS is number one in viewers on five nights (Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), more than all the other networks combined, and second on Tuesday and Wednesday, "American Idol" nights.
