The "Daytime Emmys" Scores Best Viewer Delivery Since 2004 and Best in Key Demographics Since 2005

CBS won its third consecutive summer week in viewers, placed first in adults 25-54 (tie) and had five of the top 10 most-watched programs, in the week ending June 17, week 39 of the 2006-2007 television year.

For the week in viewers, CBS (7.33m) led NBC (6.46m), FOX (5.73m) and ABC (5.08m). Summer-to-date among viewers, CBS (7.41m) leads FOX (6.26m), NBC (5.50m) and ABC (5.44m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS, NBC and FOX were tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.4/07, each).

For the week in households, CBS (5.0/09) was +16% ahead of NBC (4.3/08), +39% ahead of FOX (3.6/07) and +47% ahead of ABC (3.4/06). Summer-to-date in households, CBS (5.0/09) has a +28% advantage over FOX (3.9/07), +35% advantage over NBC (3.7/07) and +39% advantage over ABC (3.6/07).

? NCIS (R) was second behind a first run "America's Got Talent" in households (6.5/12), viewers (9.79m), adults 25-54 (3.0/09) and adults 18-49 (2.2/07) and was the week's top scripted program.

? The primetime broadcast of Bob Barker's final episode of THE PRICE IS RIGHT (8:00-8:58 PM) easily won its time period in households (5.4/11), viewers (8.42m), adults 25-54 (2.6/10) and adults 18-49 (2.1/09).

? THE 34TH ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS (S) (8:58-11:00 PM) won its 9:00-11:00PM time slot in households (5.9/11), viewers (8.33m), adults 25-54 (2.5/08), adults 18-49 (2.0/07), women 25-54 (3.4/10), women 18-49 (2.7/09) and women 18-34 (1.9/07). Compared to last year's event (a three hour broadcast on ABC on April 28, 2006), the DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS was up +28% in households (from 4.6/08), +19% in both adults 25-54 (from 2.1/06) and women 18-34 (from 1.6/06), +18% in adults 18-49 (from 1.7/06), +10% in women 25-54 (from 3.1/09), +8% in women 18-49 (from 2.5/08) and added +2.23m viewers (from 6.10m, +37%).

-- This is the best delivery for the DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS in households and viewers since 2004 (on NBC on 5/21/04) and best delivery in adults 25-54, adults 18-49, women 25-54, women 18-49 and women 18-34 since 2005 (on CBS on 5/20/05).
