Season Three Debut Scores With Over One Million Total Viewers And Double Digit 18-49 Growth
More Than Half A Million Viewers Tune In To "Green" Encore Showing At 11 PM ET/PT
NEW YORK, NY � November 7, 2007 � Against heavy Sweeps competition, Bravo's season three debut of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (Tuesday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT) had its best season premiere ever with more than one million total viewers tuning in and posted double-digit growth over season two's premiere among viewers in the key 18-49 demo, according to Nielsen Media Research.
The third season premiere of "The Real Housewives of Orange County" scored a 1.14 HH cvg rating/1.15 million total viewers, a three percent increase over the season two premiere in total viewers (1.12 million on 1/16/07) and a 10% increase among P18-49 (909,000 vs. 830,000). Additionally, the second showing of the premiere episode at 11 p.m. ET/PT delivered a .69 HH cvg rating/697,000 total viewers. The special encore included environmental friendly pop-up tips throughout the episode, part of NBC Universal's ongoing "Green Is Universal" initiative.
