NEW YORK � November 3, 2008 - The Indianapolis Colts 18-15 victory over the Tom Brady-less New England Patriots on "NBC Sunday Night Football," won the night for NBC while facing strong competition from original programs on ABC, CBS and Fox. SNF delivered an 11.9 overnight rating and 18 share (8:30-11:00 p.m., ET), a three percent gain over last season's Cowboys-Eagles game (11.5/18) and was the highest rated broadcast of the night on any network, beating Desperate Housewives on ABC by 16 percent (10.3/15).
Last night's rating peaked between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. ET at a 12.5/20.
