HALLMARK CHANNEL CELEBRATES AN EARLY THANKSGIVING
"An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving" Ranks as Highest-Rated Cable Movie
Of the Day and Week and Boosts Network to #1 for the Day
Hallmark Channel received its Thanksgiving feast early this year when its Saturday night premiere of "An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving" attracted 5.2 million viewers delivering a 3.2 household rating and nearly 2.8 million homes, making it the highest-rated cable movie of the day and week. The original movie, starring Jacqueline Bisset, also ranked #1 in the time period (9-11 p.m., ET/PT) for household and total viewer ratings and deliveries, and boosted the network to rank #1 in Prime Time for the day among HH (2.8) and W25-54 (1.4) ratings.
The original holiday movie also ranked in the top 10 in the time period for key demo ratings and delivery, including:
� #2 in W25-54 rating (1.4) and delivery (696,000)
� #4 in A25-54 rating (0.9) and #6 in A25-54 delivery (864,000)
� #5 in W18-49 rating (0.9) and #6 in W18-49 delivery (458,000)
� #7 in A18-49 rating (0.6) and #10 in A18-49 delivery (599,000)
"An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving" helped elevate the family-friendly network to rank #6 for the week with a 1.4 HH rating, nearly 1.2 million homes and over 1.5 million total viewers. The premiere becomes Hallmark Channel's fifth-highest-rated original movie in the network's history and its fourth-most-watched original movie among households. It is also the network's most watched and highest-rated November original movie ever.
"An Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving" launched Hallmark Channel's slate of six original holiday movies this season. The network will premiere "Moonlight & Mistletoe" on Saturday, November 29; "The Christmas Choir" on Saturday, December 6; "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" on Saturday, December 13; "Our First Christmas" on Saturday, December 20; and, "A Kiss at Midnight" on Saturday, December 27.
