New York, December 2, 2008 � The History� special presentation THE WHITE HOUSE: BEHIND CLOSED DOORS garnered a commanding lead among all cable networks in its time slot when it premiered on Wednesday, November 26th at 9pm ET.

The 90-minute special, featuring President and Mrs. Bush, looks through history�s lens to provide a rare inside look at the home where America's first families have lived, learned and helped shape the United States. The special was watched by 2.8 million total viewers and earned a 1.9 household rating, both top numbers for their time slot on cable that night. The combined 9pm and 1am telecasts were watched by 3.7 million viewers.
