CBS Places First in Viewers for the Third Consecutive Week and Seventh in Last Eight

CBS PLACES FIRST IN VIEWERS FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE WEEK AND SEVENTH IN LAST EIGHT

CBS Continues as Only Network Expanding Summer Audience

"NCIS" Remains Number One Drama for the Seventh Straight Week

"Two and a Half Men" Is Number One Scripted Program in Adults 18-49; "The Big Bang Theory" Is Number Two

Sunday Edition of "Big Brother 11" Scores the Best Ratings in Viewers, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54 on Any Night This Summer as all Three Broadcasts Post Growth

CBS placed first in viewers for the third consecutive week and seventh in the last eight, first in adults 25-54 (tie) and remains the only network posting summer growth (+2% versus last year) according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Aug. 10, week 46 of the 2008-2009 television year.

NCIS was the Number One drama for the seventh straight week and TWO A HALF MEN was the Number One scripted program in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 followed by THE BIG BANG THEORY.

Meanwhile, Sunday's edition of BIG BROTHER 11 posted the series' best deliveries of the summer in viewers, adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and adults 18-34 on any night as all three weekly broadcasts notched week-to-week growth.

For the week in viewers: CBS (6.15m), NBC (5.93m), FOX (5.29m) and ABC (3.48m). Summer-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (6.86m), ahead of NBC (5.47m), FOX (5.26m) and ABC (4.76m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.1/06, with both NBC and FOX) and averaged a 1.5/05 in adults 18-49. Summer-to-date, CBS is tied for first in adults 25-54 (with FOX).

For the week in households: CBS (4.1/07), NBC (3.8/07), FOX (3.2/06) and ABC (2.2/04). Summer-to-date, CBS is first (4.5/08), ahead of NBC (3.5/06), FOX (3.3/06) and ABC (3.0/06).

? BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY (4.2/08, 7.15m) was second in viewers, adults 25-54 (3.0/08), adults 18-49 (2.6/08) and adults 18-34 (2.1/07). This is BIG BROTHER 11's best delivery on any night in viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and matches the best BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY delivery in households. Compared to last week, BIG BROTHER 11 SUNDAY was up +11% in adults 25-54 (from 2.7/08), +18% in adults 18-49 (from 2.2/07), +31% in adults 18-34 (from 1.6/06) and added +380,000 viewers (from 6.77m, +6%).
