A REBROADCAST OF "NCIS" IS THE WEEK'S TOP SCRIPTED PROGRAM

CBS Places Second in Viewers in an Atypical Week That Included CBS Rebroadcasts and Four World Series Games

"The Mentalist" Ties "Private Practice" in Adults 18-49 for the First Time This Season

CBS placed second in viewers in an atypical week that included rebroadcasts of many of the Network's comedies and dramas and four World Series games, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 1, week six of the 2009-2010 television season.

A rebroadcast of NCIS, television's number one program, was the week's top scripted program. THE MENTALIST tied "Private Practice" in adults 18-49 for the first time this season and posted its largest margin of victory against the medical drama with a first run episode in viewers (+6.36m) and adults 25-54 (+1.1 rtg pts).

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.84m), FOX (14.68m), ABC (9.45m) and NBC (5.59m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (12.08m), ahead of ABC (10.02m), FOX (9.98m) and NBC (7.54m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS averaged a 3.1/08 in adults 25-54 and 2.3/06 in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.2/09).

For the week in households: CBS (6.2/10), FOX (8.8/14), ABC (6.0/10) and NBC (3.5/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.5/12), ahead of ABC (6.4/10), FOX (6.0/10) and NBC (4.7/08).

? NCIS (R) won its time slot in households (10.4/16), viewers (16.70m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) for the sixth consecutive week and was second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, -0.1 behind NBC).

? THE GOOD WIFE (R) was first in households (6.4/11) and viewers (9.34m) for the sixth consecutive week, tied for first in adults 25-54 (2.6/07, with ABC) and tied for second in adults 18-49 (1.8/05, with NBC).

? SURVIVOR: SAMOA was second behind FOX's World Series Game #2 in households (6.9/11), viewers (12.19m), adults 25-54 (4.6/11) and adults 18-49 (3.7/10).

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION was second in households (9.2/14) and viewers (15.24m).
