A Rebroadcast of "NCIS" Attracts More Viewers than Any Scripted Program on the Competition

TWO AND A HALF MEN and THE BIG BANG THEORY were the week's top two scripted series in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 24, week 18 of the 2009-2010 television season.

In all, CBS had nine of the top 10 scripted series as the Network placed second in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

CBS's 10:00 PM dramas�CSI: MIAMI, THE GOOD WIFE, CSI: NY and THE MENTALIST (Friday was an atypical night due to the "Hope for Haiti" telethon) all won their time periods in viewers and adults 25-54, while CSI: MIAMI, CSI: NY and THE GOOD WIFE also placed first in adults 18-49. HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE posted season highs in viewers and demos and CRIMINAL MINDS posted its best deliveries in viewers and adults 18-49 since its season premiere.

For the week in viewers: CBS (9.55m), FOX (24.40m) ABC (6.31m) and NBC (5.26m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.73m), ahead of FOX (9.79m), ABC (8.91m) and NBC (7.71m).

For the week in households: CBS (6.1/10), FOX (13.3/21), ABC (4.1/07) and NBC (3.3/05). In households, season-to-date, CBS is first (7.3/12) ahead of FOX (5.8/09), ABC (5.6/09) and NBC (4.8/08).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and adults 18-49 (2.4/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.0/10, tie with FOX) and second in adults 18-49 (3.1/08).

? ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE (5.6/08, 9.56m) was first in adults 25-54 (4.1/09) and second in adults 18-49 (3.5/09). ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE hit series highs in these measures.
