Nickelodeon's The Penguins of Madagascar President's Day Special Tops Basic Cable with Total Viewers on Monday Night
Penguins Special Starring Neil Patrick Harris Ranks as Number-One Telecast
On All TV with Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11
Viewers flocked to The Penguins of Madagascar President's Day special, "Dr. Blowhole's Revenge," guest starring Neil Patrick Harris on Monday night (Feb. 15, 8 p.m., ET/PT). The new episode ranked as basic cable's number-one telecast with total viewers (4.6 million, +19%) in its 8-8:30 p.m. time period, and was broadcast and basic cable's top telecast with kids 2-11 (8.3/2.9 million, +34%) and kids 6-11 (9.9/2.1 million, 167%) on Monday.
"Dr. Blowhole's Revenge" also ranked as broadcast and basic cable's number-one animated telecast with total viewers on Monday. Year to date, The Penguins of Madagascar ranks as the number-two animated series on broadcast and basic cable with kids 2-11 and kids 6-11 (Source: NMR, Live + 7 Day, 12/28/09 � 01/31/10, Live + Same Day 2/1/10-2/14/10), second only to SpongeBob SquarePants.
