Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, CBS Share Adults 18-49 Honors

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

CBS (15.84 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.2, #T1) and FOX (7.64 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.2, #T1) split the demo crown on Tuesday as the latter offered up new episodes of "Glee" (10.83 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 4.5, #1), "Raising Hope" (5.94 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.6, #5) and "Running Wilde" (2.97 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11).

The Eye then served up fresh installments of "NCIS" (19.77 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.9, #2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (15.54 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.3, #4) and "The Good Wife" (12.22 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T7).

Next up was ABC (10.82 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3) with new episodes of "No Ordinary Family" (7.84 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T7), "Dancing With the Stars" (16.84 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.4, #3) and "Detroit 187" (7.78 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.8, #10).

Meanwhile, NBC (6.21 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.3, #4) went with its mix of "The Biggest Loser" (6.80 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.4, #6) and "Parenthood" (5.03 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.1, #9).

And finally, new episodes of "One Tree Hill" (1.74 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12) and "Life Unexpected" (1.52 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #13) on The CW (1.63 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) rounded out the evening.

Week-to-week changes (adults 18-49): No Ordinary Family (10.00% vs. 10/26/10), Dancing With the Stars (9.70%), Running Wilde (8.30% vs. 10/19/10), Parenthood (5.00% vs. 10/26/10), The Biggest Loser (0.00%), Raising Hope (0.00% vs. 10/26/10), NCIS: Los Angeles (-2.90% vs. 10/26/10), NCIS (-4.90% vs. 10/26/10), Glee (-6.30% vs. 10/26/10), The Good Wife (-8.30% vs. 10/26/10), Detroit 187 (-10.00% vs. 10/26/10), One Tree Hill (-20.00%), Life Unexpected (-22.20%).

In late-night metered market ratings, ABC's "Nightline" (3.2/8) took top honors over NBC's "Leno" (2.5/7) and CBS's "Letterman" (3.0/8). Rounding out the night then were "Kimmel" (1.7/6) on ABC "Ferguson" (1.5/6) on CBS and "Fallon" (1.2/4) and "Daly" (0.7/3) on NBC.


Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (11/10/09):

CBS (16.43 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1) claimed the top spot on Tuesday thanks to new episodes of "NCIS" (20.19 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.2, #1), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (16.19 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T2) and "The Good Wife" (12.89 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.7, #6).

ABC (11.89 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.2, #2) then had to settle for second place with week two "V" (10.56 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T2) followed by a new "Dancing With the Stars" (15.53 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.4, #5) and the special "In the Spotlight with Robin Roberts" (9.57 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.4, #7).

Next up was NBC (8.30 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.1, #3) with new episodes of "The Biggest Loser" (9.58 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T2) and "The Jay Leno Show" (5.73 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.9, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (5.72 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.3, #4) offered up a new two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance" (5.72 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.3, #8).

And finally, new episodes of "90210" (2.21 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10) and "Melrose Place" (1.31 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11) on The CW (1.76 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #5) rounded out the evening.
