"Parenthood" Earns the Biggest Percentage Jump from Live + Same Day to Live + 7; "Event" Is #1 Among New Shows; "Outsourced" Is #1 Among New Comedies

Here are time-shifting increases in terms of season averages (through November 14, covering the first eight weeks of the season)...

Adults 18-49

In jumps from L+SD to L+7 through the first eight weeks of the season, NBC highlights include:

"Parenthood" is tied for the #1 series in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 (+43% in adults 18-49, to a 2.97 rating from a 2.08), tied with Fox's "Fringe" (+43%).

"The Event" is delivering the #1 percentage increase among new shows (+36%, to 3.34 from 2.45 and is the #3 series overall.

"Outsourced" is generating the #1 percentage increase among new half-hour comedies (+22%, 3.32 vs. 2.73).

"The Office" is earning the #1 percentage increases among half-hour comedies (+32%, 4.96 vs. 3.77) and "30 Rock" (+27%, 3.15 vs. 2.49) and "Community" (+25%, 2.56 vs. 2.04) and are #3 and #4.

"Apprentice" is tied for the #1 percentage increase among unscripted shows (+27%, 1.71 vs. 1.35) with "America's Next Top Model" (+27%).

Other shows getting sizable bumps in L+7 versus L+SD in adults 18-49 are "SVU" (+28%), "Chase" (+28%), "Chuck" (+25%) and "Law & Order: LA" (+21%).

In jumps from L+SD to L+7 through the first eight weeks of the season, NBC highlights include:

"Parenthood" is the #1 series in terms of percentage increase from L+SD to L+7 (+38% in persons 2+, to a 7.0 million from a 5.1 million).

"The Event" is delivering the #1 percentage increase among new shows (+29%, to 9.6 million from 7.5 million) and is the #5 series overall.

"Outsourced" is generating the #1 percentage increase among new half-hour comedies (+20%, 6.9 million vs. 5.8 million).

"The Office" is earning the #1 percentage increases among half-hour comedies (+27%, 9.5 million vs. 7.5 million) and "30 Rock" (+21%, 6.7 million vs. 5.5 million), "Outsourced" (+20%, 6.9 million vs. 5.8 million) and "Community" (+18%, 5.6 million vs. 4.7 million) and are #3, #4 and tied for #5.

"Apprentice" is scoring the #1 percentage increase among unscripted shows (+22%, 4.6 million vs. 3.8 million).

Other shows getting sizable bumps in L+7 versus L+SD in total viewers are "Chase" (+25%), "Chuck" (+20%), "SVU" (+19%) and "Law & Order: LA" (+15%).
