CBS Has Its Highest-Rated Wednesday in Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 since November
The series premiere of CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR won its time period in all key measures, built on its lead-in among viewers and adults 18-49 and delivered the largest audience and best demographics in the Wednesday (10:00-11:00 PM) time period in more than a year, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Feb. 16.
CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR (P) was first in households (8.0/14), viewers (12.91m), adults 25-54 (4.4/12) and adults 18-49 (3.3/10). Compared to the time period's previous first-run, live plus same day delivery, CBS was up +25% in households (from 6.4/11), +47% in adults 25-54 (from 3.0/08), +57% in adults 18-49 (from 2.1/06) and added +2.61m viewers (from 10.30m, +25%). CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR topped NBC and ABC combined in viewers (12.91m vs. 11.58m, +11%).
CRIMINAL MINDS: SUSPECT BEHAVIOR posted the time period's best delivery with a regularly scheduled program in households, viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49 since Feb. 10, 2010.
CRIMINAL MINDS was second in households (7.9/12), viewers (12.83m) and adults 25-54 (4.4/10) and averaged a 3.2/09 in adults 18-49.
SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND (P), facing a regularly scheduled "American Idol" for the first time, was a solid second in households (6.3/10), viewers (11.17m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09).
For the night, CBS was second in households (7.4/12), viewers (12.30m), adults 25-54 (4.4/11) and adults 18-49 (3.2/09). This was the most-watched Wednesday night for CBS since Dec. 8, 2010, and highest-rated with adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 since Nov. 3, 2010.
